remap BRep to XY-Plane inaccuracy / tolerance problem?

The attached definition is used to remap BReps to the Groundplane in order to Nest to BottomCrvs later on. On some of the Volumes it occurs they are not 100% on the Plane, but a little bit off (here 2.8649e-11).

All the relevant (in this case largest) Srfs are always checked for planarity before passed on to the function.

I wonder why and how to avoid this. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Phillip

Could nail down the problem to the reorient component and posted it here.

Floating point numbers and thus numeric operations have limited precision. There will always be an error margin. This problem comes up a lot under various topics. If you want some more detailed input serach for "double", "float", "precision", "accuracy".

What is the component that looks like the list item component but is highlighted with blue instead of red?
