infinite sweep rail
Hi there!
I am a relatively new person to GH, so I would like to ask you how to solve one simple situation. Let's say, I want to make N columns with a sweep rail command and use N distinct cross sections and N rails for that. Is there a way of combining these N actions, which are essentially one action repeated N times, in one operation or do I have to grasshop each column with a separate sweep rail command?

Hi Ivan,
Sure you can, and if you search the ning you'll find various pure Grasshopper approaches. If you're happy to install a plug-in, you can do it with ease including a built in section library (and you can add in your own library of profiles). Check http://geometrygym.blogspot.com

this is a tree (lists of lists) question. You can read about trees in this manual, page 35. The following definition for Grasshopper 0.6.0059 shows some tree uses...
