Sudden tooth infection help

I think I have a dental infection because I have a weird taste in my mouth and a throbbing pain in my molar. I am looking for a clinic that can handle this kind of thing quickly. Do they usually do a root canal or an extraction for an infection? How do I know if it is a real emergency that needs immediate attention? I am a bit scared of the dentist so I need a place that is gentle.

An infection is definitely something you want to get checked right away because it can spread if left alone. I had a dental medical emergency reliable dental help recently and the doctor was so kind and patient with me. They did an X-ray and explained that we could save the tooth with a root canal. The procedure was much easier than I expected and the pain stopped almost immediately after they started. You should look for a place that prioritizes patient comfort like they do. It really helps to have a dentist who talks you through everything so you aren't surprised. Definitely call them and explain what you are feeling.
