Hello everyone, as the title suggests.. what's the better way to insert a rigid diaphragm in a building model? i added some really high stiffness springs as cross section of additional boundaries beam but... i was wondering that maybe this additional beam at the same position as the other could cause some problem.
does anyone have a better solution?
Thanks!!
Francesco

Hello Francesco,
at the moment (Karamba3d 1.3.0) I recommend the solution you describe above.
The springs should not be too stiff, since this can make the resulting stiffness matrix ill-conditioned and leads to increased numerical inaccuracies.
In case you place a very stiff spring in the same position as a beam the stresses in the latter will decrease but this will cause no problems.
Best,
Clemens

I found a link on a local blog in Windsor and thought I would give it a look during my break. I had seen a positive review earlier that day which seemed good about the withdrawal speeds. Since signing up at rocket play casino real money https://rocketplaygames.net/, I’ve managed to turn my small deposit into a significant sum. It feels great to finally be on the winning side after so many failed attempts at card games elsewhere. I am very pleased.
