does anyone have a simple definition for finding the minimum bounding box for a 2d curve?
I tried one that was on here using Galapagos for 3d objects, but I'm having some trouble getting it to work on 2d. Plus I'm not that up on Galapagos.
Thanks in advance!

Here's another approach without using Galapagos:

thanks Andrew. I'll give that a go also, even though I was enjoying watching Galapagos do it's thing.
It'll be good to have both approaches for edumacating myself.
One thing about using Galapagos, how do I bake the resulting Bbox? I tried all the obvious things, but I must be overlooking something.
Thanks again.
Very nice solutions!
Does Galapagos need manual input to run it each time or will it rerun automatically as the input changes?
Will it make the process computationally more efficient in this example, compared to the pure GH solution? Since it maybe searches more intelligently?
