Does is anyone familiar with Elk and Meerkat?

I am trying to get a 3D Rhino model of Los Angeles but I am having trouble. I downloaded the newer Elk and it is not recognizing the old components. Here is what I previously had.. 

I tried to attach the file path but its over 5MB... Here is my definition. I am still learning the software and am in my first year. I want to learn this so badly so if anyone could help and write a description of how it's done I would very much appreciate it!

    Hi Dana,

    Its a plugin used to generate the topography and maps using various data from open sources like:data from OpenStreetMap.org and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data from NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

    from openstreetmao.org its imports the poly lines which can be defined  in various categories like: Drain lines 

    Road lines

    Highways

    etc..

     try this you will get various tutorials and discussions to understand it much more.
