Emergent system in Grasshopper?

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if its possible to create an emergent system with grasshopper. But not only a "Generative model", I mean a dynamic system that contains an ENVIROMENT besides of the components and parameters, such as preasure, temperature, gravity, humidity, etc.
And if it´s not possible, who knows what program can I use?
I found a software called GENR8 (plugin for Alias/Wavefornt Maya 4.0). But since Autodesk bought it, it´s kinda difficult to find that version of Maya.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

    hi federico

so with some effort it is definitely possible to setup a emergent system in grasshopper
it depends on you to set the right mathematical definitions in grasshopper
look @ the setups from daniel piker (magnetic field - http://spacesymmetrystructure.wordpress.com/) or damien (the cloth relaxation or hair tool - http://liquidtectonics.blogspot.com/ )
so inside maya and 3dmax (fluids,gravity,springs,..etc) the tools are already included but you have also to setup them in the right way

    hope that helps you

In school, we would use an environment called 'Breve' to do this sort of thing. It is a programming environment designed specifically for the creation of AL/emergent systems and simulations. I cant imagine it will be of much use if you want to use the results of this thing in ant sort of drafting capacity, but If all you want to do is set up the system, that is certainly one way you could do it.

Breve has its share of quirks, but it is a really quick and easy way to set this kind of thing up, and its free, which is always nice.
