Diva daylight Analysis results seem odd, any ideas what could be the problem?

Hi There,

I just modeled a very simple room with one window, when I run Diva for Grasshopper I get very strange illuminance values, I get very high values around all 4 interior wall edges and very low values in the middle of the room ? please help, I need to solve this problem in a quick manner because it is a school project.

also I noticed that the analysis mesh face normal says (0,0,-1) , isn't it supposed to be (0,0,1) may be that's what is causing the very odd results?

I don't have DIVA so I cannot test your file but 0,0,-1 can be the reason of the issue. You probably need to flip the base surface (or just reverse the vectors).

The problem is that the perimeter vertices of the mesh you are calculating are touching the outside surface of the walls, so light is leaking to them. Add a small gap by offsetting the horizontal surface a bit to the inside.
