Grasshopper Subsitution for RhinoTerrain
Hi Everyone,
For those who are interested in a quick grasshopper routine that can essentially replace the need for a plugin like RhinoTerrain when creating topography from contour lines please see the attached files.
The resulting mesh topography is comparable with the mesh results generated from RhinoTerrain and can be done within Grasshopper.
In Rhino, one can use the drape over the resulting baked mesh to smooth out the topography. We will continue to work on being able to smooth out the mesh geometry within Grasshopper in hopes to remove this drape step.
