In Rhinocommon it is very straightforward to take control of the sun system.
The attached definition will get you there. There are some weird things happening when I switch locations...the time gets shifted.
I need to look further as it was very quickly implemented. As you see, only 2 lines of code to mess around with the sun.

This is a great little definition, however, I'm getting two error messages:
"Error: The type or namespace name 'Sun' does not exist in the namespace 'Rhino.Render' (are you missing an assembly reference?) (line 86)"
"Error: 'Rhino.DocObjects.Tables.LightTable' does not contain a definition for 'Sun' (line 86)"
I'm using Rhinoceros 4.0 v9 and just recently installed the Rhino4.0SDK. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Michael, I think "Sun" is being added in Rhino 5, I think a beta is out there somewhere.
