Urbanism Attractor Technique

This urbanism approach was developed using grasshopper. This technique can use any surface and an attractor point to generate a series of towers and courtyards. The technique subdivides the surface and measures the distance between the centre-points and the attractor point. Surfaces nearer the attractor will produce a tower, whilst surfaces further away will produce a courtyard. This technique investigates housing typologies in Beijing and attempts to explore the relationship between modern towers and traditional courtyards.
