I'm stuck on a project I'm working on right now and would like any suggestions. I'm just learning grasshopper and what it can do. I'm trying to design a facade of a building that will show or represent whats on the inside of the building or what areas are important. The only thing i have come up with was using a grid of boxes and scaling according to an attractor point. I'm open to anything.
Thanks
Tyler
so what you're basically asking is, how a facade can represent what is inside of a building or how to make it in grashopper?
if the first is the case, then try to go through functionalists, postmodernists, rem koolhaas to kas oosterhuis - they all had their opinions on the relationship between inside and outside of a building. or just check Lab architecture ;)
Now that you mention it, I would say I'm asking both. I'll take a look at some of their works and see if I can come up with some ideas. Then hopefully be able to use grasshopper to illustrate it.
Hi Tyler what about this facade?
