hi guys is there anyone to help me about (t) parameter in horizontal frame component?? what does it mean? and is there any deference between the length of a curve with (t) ithem of a curve??tanx
t is the (mathematical) parameter that locates a point (or tangent) in a curve. It is a coordinate and is not directly related to the length of the curve, not at least in general terms, but I think on the line yes. This coordinate is within the domain of the curve, which is calculated, I guess, from the NURBS properties.
You can reparametrize the curve from the input curve via right click to make the domain of the curve between 0 and 1, so the parameter t = 0.5 creates a point in the middle of the curve.
This parameter (t) works equals on all curve components.
This question should be categorized as a discusion, not as a post.
