any examples or samples of work made with it?

after installation examples are typically in the folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\Karamba\Examples

looks really neat!

i m having some problems though, the model component (even when running the example files keeps throwing back an error):

Solution exception: The type initializer for 'fem.karambaPINVOKE' threw an exception

Running the example files (with GH 0.8.0003) I get the same error :

'fem.karambaPINVOKE'

Did you install Karamba with Administrator rights? After installing Karamba there should be three new files on your computer: 'karamba.dll' and 'libiomp5md.dll' in the 'Grasshopper'-folder and 'Karamba.gha' in the 'Components'-folder of Grasshopper. You should check whether that's the case.

I did now some preliminary tests with Karamba and GH 0.8.004 on a XP-machine and did not encounter any problems.

Both files are in the folder, I tried on several computers running XP, with GH 0.8.0004 or GH 0.8.0003, but I still have the same message from the analysis component. I don't understand !

i have checked the 3 files as well. They are in the specified folders, but still it gives me the same error. thanks in advance!

Well, it works with on a 64bits W7 with Rhino 4 SR8 and GH 0.8.0004.

Maybe you can help me out.... i have the same configuration as you are describing. tried uninstalling/reinstalling... the analysis model assembly still throws the same error. all the other components from this plugin work just fine.

Is there some problem in your website? I can't download anything.

in some cases there seems to be a problem with internet-explorer and the newest beta release of firefox to download from http://twl.uni-ak.ac.at/karamba. we will try to fix these issue soon!

there was a minor bug in 0.9.0 that could under certain circumstances display incorrect results.

this is fixed.

Rhino 5 will be supported soon.

We are currently extending Karamba with a graph library and working on different things like a mutithreaded loop and exporter components. When these are finished we will port the plug-in to Rhino 5.
