Doubt rectangles in a circle

Hi everybody

 

I am almost new in grasshopper(some kind of knowledge) and i am trying to do something like in the picture...I almost did it but i have problems to fix the rectangule in the line of the circle.

And also explain me please why the rectangle does not fix the line of the circle...It has something to do with the geometric center of the rectangle?

my working tools: center point/circle/curve point/line/domain/align plane xy/rectangle 

If somebody can help me, would be very grateful!

    Hi Singlefin,

    Maybe you can try it this way:

    - calculate the vector between two points on the circle

    - rotate the vector by -90 degrees

    - add the rotated vector to one of the initial points

    - create a rectangle trough 3 points

    This does the same thing but is much nicer.

    It uses the original list of points on the circle and the same list but shifted by 1 index, so it puts together point 1 with 2, 2 with 3 ...
