Before I forget, for publishing PDF I have found out that the best practices are:

1. In case that you want to conserve page continuity, and printing is not a priority, then it's better to present each facing pages as one. It makes reading on tables easier.
2. In case you want it to readable on any media (print included), then adding white pages is a must, so that they can push/pull pages to preserve plans on opposite pages.
