algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to map the city of Providence in US Rhode Island, but nothing shows up. Anyone having the same issue using those coordinates?

Latitude: 41°49'16.67"N

Longitude:  71°24'19.14"W

Which I assume corresponds to 41.491667 and -71.241914 in GH/Gismo

And why is Gismo using negative longitude numbers?

Sorry, didn't see Gismo's using Decimal Degrees. Got it now.

Hi Alban,
Gismo' "_location" inputs indeed required decimal degrees, but you can also use the "DMS to DD" component to convert your DMS coordinate to decimal degree coordinate.

As for the why negative longitude is used: this is an international convention: everything west of Prime Meridian has a negative longitude. The confusion probably comes, because American agencies sometimes use the opposite: everything west of Prime Meridian is positive.
