algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Today, I wrote a short introduction guide for SSI for GSA. It is meant for students at my university who want to learn parametric designing, but I suppose it may be useful for others too.

This 8 page guide covers the basics of SSI for GSA.

If you have any questions, please post them here.

I will also be uploading several other examples for you to play with and learn from.

Feedback is also very much appreciated! I'm still learning SSI as well :)

Here is another example for a truss.

Thanks Michael, Great work.

I've been considering setting up a wiki page (or similar) for this type of resource, so that it can be dynamically updated (by multiple users) and hyperlinking to example models and relevant related topics.  What do you think?

That sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure which topics can be treated. Do you have a suggestion for that?

Are you considering a site like wikia?

If you like I could help set up some of the basics.

some defs i was working,if it helps nyone.

I made a change that the solver output is now grafted (if you were querying similar results data was getting mixed).  So I've attached a revised version of Michael's file that flattens the output to get the same result.
