Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello,

I am trying to install geco on the latest version of grasshopper (0.9.0066) and I am having difficulties to load the  gecolink dll.

error:

1. Solution exception:Could not load file or assembly 'GecoLink, Version=2.1.563.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Could you please, let me know, how can I load geco dll.

Thanks,

if you encounter problems (gecolink problem) with the last release(without installer) please make sure that the assemblies are not blocked. To check this just right click on the geco.gha and gecolink.dll. If they are blocked you can see this on the right bottom corner with the button called unblock.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Hello, I also had this problem, but I didn't see the unblock button on right click, then how can i solve this? thanks.

after copying the link below into your explorer:

"C:\Users\"YOURUSERNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries

(change "YOURUSERNAME")"

right click on the geco.gha and gecolink.dll, click on properties and you will see the button called unblocked.

I have same problem and i click unblocked but it still error. how can i solve this? Thank

As replied in many cases already and also mentioned in the txt deliverd with the plugin, geco.gha and gecolink.dll have to be placed in a folder "GECO"

Will i install gecotect first?
