algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to create a rhizome pattern on Culebra II and to do so, I am using a Mesh crawling II following a specific mesh. The idea is that while the main agents keep growing, the child are killed after a certain trail size.

Is there a way to kill a child agent and then allowing another one to spawn in a further location? And, at the same time, having all the trail data recorded?

Hi Daniel,

You can certainly kill the agent after X number of steps by controlling the max step size input in the trail data component. You can try spawning another one by increasing the number of allowable children by 1 more than was previously allowed, then increase the max trail size in the simulation for the children. Give that a try
