Ok. Thank You for answer!
So I'm looking forward to see this version!
Good luck! :)

Hi Maciej, Cheetah is at the moment a set of user components containing VB.NET codes, provided "as is". We are writing a gha for it but it takes a few days to be released here. We are improving a few features in the gha version, so if you can wait you will get a faster Cheetah in a few days. In any case, if you happen to have any difficulty in doing some analyses with those components, please let us know here.

Hi there!
I'm undergraduate student of Architecture and I'm almost totally new to grasshopper and i realy don't know how to set on cheetah plugin to work, out from this algorythm written in "Cheetah_Pilot_New_Series_Urban_Data_Scope_F.gh" file
and I cannot find any other plugin saved in such way to base on its installation process (all saved as .gha files)
Am I going to create user objects out of all grouped elements and set their properties?
or is there any simpler way to get it work?
I'd be very Greatful for any help!
:)

Dear Petra,

Good to hear that. But in order to make sure you are getting correct outputs, I would suggest to check items numbers 3 and 4 as well.

Good Luck

Dear Samane,

I was in a hurry this morning, therefore, I found a way around - I've redrawn all of the streets, and it worked. It doesn't seem to have any troubles with the other issues you've mentioned.

thank you for your effort and your time, you it is highly appreciated

Dear Petar,
It is very important to provide Cheetah's inputs with proper inputs. There were some mistakes in your file:

1- In your street network, there was one street with length equal to 0.

2_ 10 blocks (block curves) were not closed; they were tiny lines and not closed polygons

3- The number of weights should be equal to attraction points' count, you had 3 attraction points but 30 weights!

4-The final result of network analysis is a data-tree of distances, containing lists of distances corresponding to the attraction points as bases of calculations. I did not understand why you provided the tree branch input with weights! That was the mistake.

I edited your file and everything is working properly. If you give me your email address I can send it to you.

Cheers

sure.. Desktop.rar

it is a .rar file, I hope this site allows using it...

Maybe to give a heads up, I found that the problem is with the street network, since I have taken your example, applied my terrain and it worked well. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Petar,

Good to hear that the video and explanations were of help. Of course it is alright with Pirouz and me to use Cheetah for your project with proper attribution.

I tried to download your file but the access was denied. Can you attach it again?

Sama
