algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Wy loft component is not using a set of four curves (polylines or splines) in the order I need?   It seems to me that loft component is using a different cordinate system and groups curves as they were in YZ instead of World XYplane.

Attached 3 files with :

1 the curves

2 what i get with loft component

3 what I need

Feeling very embarraced

I thanks a lot in advance to anyone giving me a clue.

Ale.

looks like you might have 2 separate branches, each with 2 polylines. Try flattening the loft input. If they are still out of order, you can use the sort component to put them in the right order. In that case you might take the X values of the end points of each curve and use them as the sort key.

Here's an example of sorting before lofting.

great!

Thank you a lot! Brian

tryed that and it wasn't that simple. there are as you said two branches of curves, I' couldnt break.

so Solved it by weave component in pairs ordered each pair before sorting curves and that worked Ok. problem is before curve generation.. curves are offsets of splines. and maybe the offset plane (YZ) is afecting the order. I'll check it after i reach my draft goal.

so whe my draft GH diagram is solved I'll refine it and share here my conclusions.

Thanks anyway Brian as your help was very helpfull finding the origin of my problem.
