algorithmic modeling for Rhino

If I subdivide a surface unevenly using either a graph mapper or random generator, how can I remap the divisions to only 3 sizes? ie. 25mm, 50mm, or 75mm.

Thanks a lot Chris. But I can only get this to work if I start with a [plane surface] as you did. Do you know how this can be applied to a surface referenced in Rhino? When I reference a surface the [isotrim] command gives me an error message saying the U-domain is singular.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Try this one.  I swapped one of the inputs.

Thanks for that.

Hey guys,

here it's solved with a SeedSeries script component David Rutten posted. I find this component VERY useful. It works like the Series component, but you can input more than one value as steps.

I would really like to use this script but i don't seem to be able to understand the logic behind it, which makes it hard to use in different situations. Would you take the time to we explain it to a dumb grasshopper newbie?

Thank you
