Truss calculator

Hi,

Anyone have a code that can calculate forces in truss members?

How would you go about applying a uniform distributed load in addition to Point loads onto the truss?

What are you planning on doing with this? In the land of interop and com, I'd suggest efforts are better placed in programming an interface with a developed structural analysis program than writing your own solver for primitive version. If you're a student (or academic), I believe that Oasys GSA is available free of charge.

You can use a free truss calculator from skyciv.com. I tried this in my school project and results are accurate. It has a free version which you can try.
