algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Question.. i want to cut holes in some complex curves? is there a simple way to trim or split or itnersect curves with other curves or curves with lines? i dont find a solution so far.. or do i need to work with bezier and the normals/tangents?
thx

Looks great! What about the other side of the beam (you only have one face for now). I'm interested in beams upper and lower face at intersection event...
thx.
since i plan to build it as suspended ceiling and it will be made of thin plexiglas (so i can bend) i dont need both sides at the moment.
it's quite an old (and boring) idea and done many times before.. but now i got a good structured script as base to work with parameters. the curvature of the loftsurface should react on real world infromation such as window and door positions.. position of the table in the room and so on.. then i can get a shape and a position of the lamp inside the shape to achieve the atmospheric result i want. still quite some work but this was an important step. no manual cleaning of the line-data necessary anymore.
