algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody can anyone explain why in some function manipulatation of multiple data stream is done as multipule branches yet other just uses them as single one (i wish graft was an internal option in most functions?!)
care to see what you think
Thanks..

History (pre-0.6):
As David has said (if I recall correctly) the implementation of data tree structure is a large part of the 0.6 WIP status of GH. This is also why the last stable build is 0.5, before data trees came to town. When data trees were "turned on" things got a bit wacky. Most of the time it wasn't very intuitive which components automatically output data in tree format. Creating and manipulating data trees was tedious.

Present (0.6):
David has been cleaning things up. Now it is more "intuitive" which components are likely to output tree data. For example, any component that creates a grid of points will (most likely) do so in tree format. Basically (I surmise) David has had to go back and check each component individually to check/fix the output parameter to determine if a tree format makes sense.

Future (0.7):
The next stable build will be 0.7 and we will leave the experimental data tree generation behind. This may not be anytime soon, however.
