algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Everybody,

I'm working on a small definition that seems pretty straightforward. However I'm at a dead end and would really appreciate someone's advice on this. I'm a bit of a newbie still.

I want to draw section lines on a lofted brep (of a tower which is in the Rhino file) at every floor level.

floor levels are defined by a series of xy planes that have been arrayed up the z axis.  Floorlines are being drawn by intersecting the Brep with these planes.

It only returns a few floorlines, and they're discontinuous around the tower.

I've tried the following:

- Using planar surfaces instead of xy planes.  Same error results.

- Exploding the Brep and intersecting the a) faces or the b) edges separately with the planes, or planar surfaces.  Different errors result.

- Baking the brep (a live loft in my file) doesn't help.

- I've tried flattening/grafting inputs to the section component.

Files attached.

Thank you!

Update:

Got some advice that the problem could be the loft, so I rebuilt the tower with 6 faces using Srf4pt components. I was able to get a few more floorlines, but not even 50%.

I then tried the definition on a simple 6 sided polygon extrusion, and it worked fine, all floorplates were created.  So the problem has something to do with this 6 sided form I created...
