Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

i have to make a grid of etfe cushions.

The problem is now i use extrude to point and it doesn't reflect the shape well.

i want to use spatial deform but i don't know how to multiplie my points with a number relative to the distance from the midpoint en the edges have to remain fixed.

Hi Kytap,

Try this:

You will need to install Lunchbox plugin in order for this definition to work.
Download the Lunchbox from here.

This is another way with Lunchbox too, smoothing the pyramids individually with Weaberbird. like this recreation.

thanks for the responce sorry for my late reaction. I had to make a bamboo tunnel

Erick, thanks for the definiton, I remember using it in 2014 :) And now I want to test something different with it, so I am asking.. Is it possible to change the volume of inflation by the help of a attractor point?

So for an example, I want to put a point right at the middle and let the middle cushions inflate the most while the far ends inflate with a lot less volume. Also is it possible to have a gradual deflate effect?

Thanks,
