(SOS) Selection Of Points

Hey Guys,
I have a situation.. I have 5 points in a single point component ( result of previous operation) and I want to get the closest points (other set of points) to the initial 5 points.. i used 'closest point' and then I wanted to control the distance of attraction.. so all my 5 points attract at the same distance as its the same slider providing distance.. i wanted control over all 5 initial points (which can be 6 or may be 10 depending on the previous operation result) i.e. say point 1 attracts points within 10m distance, and point 2 at 15m distance and so on.. is there a way that i can control over the distance of each point..

I used list item for the moment and did the operation individually. but it does not support the operation if the no. of initial points exceed or decrease which becomes a fixed operation..

Can some one help me out with this
