algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi, I am very new to GH and I'm struggling to achieve a result which i think is not a beginners task.
I made a physical experiment using adhesives and some paint to create a slimy goo looking thing (see below) and I need to translate that into a building - for my university project. The way I did this was to apply the adhesives on a plastic surface and then squeeze it on top with a second surface and then pull them apart, creating this stretchy effect.
There are two things, I believe, that I need to do. First, simulate the curves and secondly add the effect of varying thicknesses etc.
To simulate the effect I might be using the 'marching cubes' definition applying it on the curves. But my trouble is getting the curves to act in the way they do in the experiment. I tried to connect lines from two surfaces and creating voids in between them (see attached) but I think that's far from what my experiment is doing.
Any advice/help anyone?
