algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Guys
wonder if someone could help me with this little problem i have, totally new to grasshopper and totally blown away by the concept of parametric design and modelling, so heres what im trying to do.
i have a spiral that i divided in grasshopper into 360 points, that bit i managed to do, what i want is to connect point 1 to point 2 with a line, then connect point 1 to point 3 with a line and so on till point 1 is connected to all the other 359 points in that order, once i have done that i want to then connect point 2 to point 3 and so on, i want to repeat this till i have a connection all the way down the spiral, i'm pretty sure that once the first set of points are dealt with then it should be fairly easy to replicate the procedure to do the other point connections.

So you want each point connected with all others?
Find the CrossReference Component and look into the Options in the context menu.
Holy Crap Batman.....it actually worked, thank you
looks wierd replying to myself but i thought i would post this, now to many of you i know this looks simple, which it is, but when i was about 10 i did this very same thing with pen and paper and a ruler, took days to complete but the result was worth it, i then,, a few years back redid it but in a 3D program, took even longer as everything was done by hand, looked stunning though, now i just did the same thing in grasshopper and it took minutes, plus i can change the complexity, so i thought you would like to see it, the curve can be anything you want it to be, square, elipse and so on.....this parametric design is going to make mikey a very lazy boy :)
Nice to see you happy.
You're not the first do be impressed though ;)
