algorithmic modeling for Rhino

section plane through brep issue

I've spoken with David about an issue I am having and he says it's a bug - but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced it and maybe has a work around. I use a plane to create a curve as it sections through a brep surface, but often times these curves are not closed - which isn't really possible since the surface is untrimmed and intact. I need the curves to be closed in order to trim the same surface...

Gabriel, you have to post screen shots with your issues... helps with understanding the problem. Did David mention it was a tolerance issue...

thanks Dirk. You're absolutely right on all accounts.

I am finding that more and more all the problems I experience have to do with tolerances...Thanks so much
