Scripting with Rhinocommon

The last time that I scripted in the Grasshopper environment I was able to make great use of the scripting section of the the Grasshopper Primer. Now I am using Rhino 5 and it took me a few hours to realize the syntax does not directly translate to Rhinocommon. Is there a document similar to the Grasshopper primer for Rhinocommon?
