Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am trying to rotate my geometry around two axis but I need help.

I've created my geometry (boxes) but need to rotate them around their center around two axis first x for 45 degrees and then around y for 45 degrees. I am sending both (3dm and gh) files if someone decides to try to help me.

Thanks,

Emir

Thank you very, very much.

Hi Emir,
Nice Geometry, but just if it interests you, here is a tipp from me for optimizing your GH Definition .. As you can see the Area-Component needs a lot of processing and so here is the tipp. You can convert your subdivided Surfaces into Rectangles just by putting a Rectangle Component in between of your SubSrf and Point Components and then behind the Rectangle a PolyLineCenter Component.

This workaround just needs way fewer processing time.

Nice greets Alex

Sorry wasn't finished with my post and pressed Add Reply too fast ;-).

And another optimization trick: The Project can be replaced by a Mesh Ray Intersaction ..

I've uploaded the gh-file that you can see what I mean.
