Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

When I  try to install the RhinoCommon SDK from

http://dev.rhino3d.com/2009/04/rhino-50-work-in-progress-sdk-releas...

I get a dialog box that says:" This installation package is not supported by this processor type."

I am running 32 bit windows 7.

Is there a way to install this so I can use it with grasshopper/Rhino5

thanks.

Hi Jon,

This link is for the Rhino 5.0 64-bit C++ SDK.

For RhinoCommon, please visit this page: http://wiki.mcneel.com/developer/rhinocommon
(there is no need to install any particular "program" for RhinoCommon, but you can download templates and the offline Help File.

Thanks,

- Giulio

Thanks Giulio.

I guess I got confused. last time I programmed in grasshopper there was no RhinoCommon and if I remeber correctly you had to do a bunch of things to load in the SDK.

Also the page that I mentioned is titled "This SDK contains both 32- and 64-bit development tools for Rhino 5.0." so I thought it was for both 32 and 64 bit.

Anyways, Rhinocommon seem like it will be much easier to use. I guess it means that there is no up to date Grasshopper primer?
