Return values

Hello, 

I have a problem in my script.
Basically I would like to create a random walker.
I already have the points but I would like to connect them with lines.

Afterwards I wanted to return the values of shape1 which defines the first point and shape2 which defines the second point.

But it doesn't work and I can't find out why,
