algorithmic modeling for Rhino

is there a way to change the resolution of the "Point on Curve" component?

I'd like to find a way to tweak it at 3 or 4 decimal point resolution.

Also is there a way that the wire display for the point on curve component can be hidden?

Hi roderick,

The "Point on Curve" compontent is thought to be a fast tool to get points on curve e.g middle point ect. and there is no need for addicional decimals...You should use the "Evaluate Curve" component...Get sure to reparameterize the Curve (C input).

What do you mean by the wire display for the component?

Cheers

Wire display options require the parameter to be accessible and only works for wires connected to the parameter. So there is no way to change that for PointOnCurve.

You can work around that by routing through a cuve param and hiding the wire to this param.

Florian, Thank you.

I've been staring at the screen too much. How did I miss that?

I imagined I'd have to divide a curve into 9999 lengths,  filtering out a domain of points above and below a set value...

I think I'll stick to your elegant solution ...Ta
