Re-ordering and Connecting points with Polyline & lofting

Help! GH is wrecking my brain :( I've been searching the forums but can't find anything useful (or I just don't understand how to apply it)

I am trying to modify the form of Le Corb's Unite de Habitation and am first testing out a simplified version. Basically I took the vertices of a L-shaped curve and shifted them according to an attractor point and now I need to reconnect the vertices. I don't know which components to use to tell GH to start from one point and connect it to pt 2, 3, 4.. to create the L shape curve. Also, how can I loft every 2 curves to create the L-shaped volumes/units?

Hi Alice,

Sorry I haven't answered this earlier. But I came across an issue with data matching when trying to select pairs of curves that I put on the forum for help with but still had no answer from David or anyone else. In the mean time, do your points need re-ordering? They still have the same order from the original curve so if you simply input the altered points into either a polyline component or better yet a Curve (from control points) Component with Degree = 1 and Periodic = True you will get a closed polyline.

See here for selecting method, albeit not working as intended.

Hi Danny,
yes during studio crits on Monday, my professor told me to use the Curve from control points and it worked.
Hi Alice,

A bit late but I hope it's still useful.

Here's a solution to your question.

Thanks to Taz for the actual solution. Here

Hi Danny,

Thanks for your help. Can you attach a screenshot of the solution? When I try to open the file, there are many components and wires missing. I don't have Rhino SR8 so I'm using GH v.6.
Well, if you cannot open the file then you also won't be able to recreate it in GH 0.6. Missing components are missing components.
