remeshing while simulating with Kangaroo

Hi all,

I'm coming across a problem with kangaroo. I think I'm looking for a way to remesh the mesh I', simulating to i can give rid of these kinks in the mesh. Anyone with any ideas to smooth these parts out? I've had a look the plankton videos but can't seem to get it working.
