algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to rebuild a surface with control points; some of which have been modified (6 on 64).

I've managed to insert the new points in the list I wanted to change with both "cull index" and "insert items", but the problem is that the result (the 64 points) are no longer in the same order, so the surface can't be built.

Can you help me with this?

File and Image (for Image Sampler) attached.

Thks!

Hello ilona,

why not just use [replace items]?

btw I believe you don't want the control points that [surface points] gives you, but maybe the points from [SDivide], as they actually lie on the surface.

my file might not open correctly as I am missing some plugins...

Thanks! Actually you're right, I would have done better to use the "divide surface" component to obtain the surface I wanted; I thought there was a way to build a surface with control points, but the result is the same so..that's great.

Thanks! Actually you're right, I would have done better to use the "Surface Divide" component, but I thought ther was a way to construct the modified surface with control points, with the same way.

Here's a quick one.

*edit - you should probably go with Nikos' solution.

Merci,

Your solution is good too, i've just replaced SrfPt by Sdivide and I have the same surface that Nikos.
