Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys. So I'm really new to GH and had a concept but not really sure how to do it. I wanted strange objects to be randomly placed within a grid of points. Each objects scale and rotation to be randomized. I found a script that would put random geo on points and added a random factor to scale and added a 3D grid. Yet I don't know how to have the objects be randomized. In the image you can see how the geometry is being placed into the grid, but instead of simple geo would like complex objects to be placed. If anyone could help the GH and rhino files are attached. CHEERS!

No ... V1 DOES not remove things (randomly and/or "randomly").

This is what V2 does (just one line of code more) but maybe I must provide an option for replacing the instances of sardines with something else (what about sardines of instances?).

V2 found (took me some time to locate it: blame advancing Alzheimer (and Tequila - lot's)).

BTW: Kim (Hauer) doesn't like sardines so this is the politically correct version.

V2 is looking much better, I already have the windows in, can we work on the plumbing next.

This condominium is fantastic > perfect for the Brave New World/Skynet (get people > make them numbers > optionally lobotomize them > put them in cages > job done). The only think missing is a twist/liquid effect in order to comply with the contemporary nonsense.

I hear voices for a V2A: make Orwell proud - not to mention Aldous Leonard Huxley - that is

more soon.

And here's the proof that Fotiadis ACME Industries (a corporation made to Serve and Protect) NEVER stops working for the welfare of the mankind:

V2A does proper vomiting things (anti-gravity required for the inhabitants)  suitable for our glorious present (not to mention future) Times.

BTW: Can Zaha do that?

Its a condo for the 1%, for those that need to differentiate themselves from the 99%.

Yes Peter has 6 option in his script, I chose "Wine Talking", I think he maybe developing Ouzo next. After you baked that BLOB of meshes, simply delete and create openings where you want In Rhino. Select by rectangle and or delete individual meshes one at a time.

Hi Hyungsoo

I was looking at a container structure, I used 4 different containers In your script, with some of  my modifications. After I bake the structure, I can't find any 10x10x10 containers. Do you know what happened to them ?
