algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I am a newbie here.
But Its been a while to just see and enjoy this forum and chats though.
Im struggling with drawing 2D random lines through points that I already set.
It may sound boring to you guys.
Can anybody help me solve this?
(See attachment): I made two lousy blue lines via points for example that I may want through this questioning.

Wow, this is great.
But I still have question. How can I manage to select points, which are not generated by any commands like "pop 3d and/or pop2d" in grasshopper, that I made already? I just put every single points on rhino one by one by myself, and tried to import the geometries into grasshopper to select. (I know it makes me stupid..)
It seems that your point selection process (?) done through pop3d to prox can not be compatible with what I have done. Do you have any idea? :)
Er ... just sample your points (into some point "container") and feed the prox component. If on the other hand you want to create safely some "void" areas (like the ones captured) this is easy or not depending on the topology of the case.
Anyway post your points as an internalized collection (to some pt component) and we'll see ways to do that (for instance if the holes are "thinner" than the prox search radius etc etc).
And give some hints more for the "next" phase: what to do with these lines?
PS: Doing "manually" 1Z points is a bit tedious or what? Or they mean something specific?
Ah! Thank you for your help peter.
I will see what I can do with your instruction.
And let you guys know as posting further.
PS: hahaha not tedious but inefficient in a way. Because I am in a certain condition that I have to trace every lines and points from my model, down sizing to put it on real location. It takes an age for real so far. Anyway many thanks.
