Pulling the control points of a mesh (Kangaroo - Tensile Mesh Excercise)

Hi There,

I am trying to pull the control points of a mesh I have created. I want the points that are pulled to be the closest points to the projection of another set of points - which are the api coordinates of vessels -. So in summary these api coordinates which are at a different height than the mesh, will pull their correspondences upwards. 

The reason I wanna do this is so that I can have a similar mesh in the Kangaroo Tensile Mesh Excercise which could later be plugged in to the kangaroo springs as it is done in the excercise

The larger object in rhino file and the lower one in GH correspond to each other whilst the smaller in rhino does for the upper one in GH.

In other words I am trying to have the same simulation as it is done in the excercise for changing live coordinates of the ships.
