Problem with Region Intersection

Hello,

I'm having some problems with this definition. I have two set of curves in a Rhino file and a circle which radius is controlled by a slider. I've set a Region Intersection between the circle and one of the sets of curves and the problem I'm having is that on some places the circle does not create the intersecting region; the problem seems to be rather random.
