Orientation of Brep and order of Vertices when Unrolling in VB

Hi all,

I'm unrolling a number of trimmed surfaces through the Unroller class in VB 4.0/Rhino5.

All works well, but I can't seem to figure out what the sequence of vertices is in the unrolled brep or how they relate to the original.

The original surfaces come from a mass model being a facade and I want to unroll the surface and the pattern so that I can look at them in the right orientation. I need to check the position of the vertices and rotate them to align the breps.

Any thoughts how they are ordered? Are the vertices of the new brep perhaps ordered in a counter clockwise movement?

I hope my question is a bit clear to answer...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jeroen,

I have the same problem , I tried VB unroller and with Fabtools and with both scripts sometimes unroll the surface outside view and others inside view , and neither respect the numer order of the edges.

Since you did your question, did you find any solution for that problem ?
