Also, I don't want to just move the new curve shapes but pinch them.

I'n not sure how your two sketches correlate since your x_001.jpg seems to hint at a vertical stack of roughly equal sized levels and x_003.jpg as well as your definition create a set of constantly gowing ovals...

Anyway, here's one possible approach to pinching the ovals. If you want it to be more like your sketch, you ned to adjust the Dispatch/Weave pattern.
