algorithmic modeling for Rhino

off set direction

hello there!

strange problem: I divided a surface, now I ma trying to offset the panels I obtained but I have two different directions: why?

the starting curve is continuos and closed, I think there is something wrong with the curve, but I don't understand wht and where.

any suggestions?

Have you checked the direction of your divided curves?
Bake them to Rhino and use "dir" command.

It would help if you can post your GH definition and 3dm files.

yes, it depend by the curves direction, I designed new curves and now it works.

i liked the behavior when it had a bug, when it didn't follow the direction, it followed the negative/positive offset value.
