Odd failure bug - Fit Curve component

In the attached definition with attached file, with certain tolerance values, the Fit component fails (null output).  Try 0.3, 0.4, 0.75, 0.8, 0.85...  With all others it succeeds...  Unless there are some hidden rules for Fit that I don't know about, this looks kinda buggy to me...

Sorry about the test file size...  There seems to be some "goo" stuck in the file, only save as "geometry only" wants to get rid of it.
