algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi guys

i want to create a undulating brick facade, in which briks are having different angle of rotation.

i created a definition in which i am able to control rotation of the brick group and the individual bricks, with the help of 2 points. the lower one contros the rotation of the whole group and the upper one controls the rotation of the bricks.

I plan to repeat the groups and keep changing the rotation with the help of the points.

But i want to copy it on a set of points along a divided curve so as to create a masonry, only individuals bricks are copied, and also not able to control the its rotation separately.

let me know where i am going wrong.

thanks

Can you post the gh file?

Chris

Hi Vipul, I think you're going wrong on the amount of cement you'll be needing;)
Can you create the wanted effect in rhino and render that? Or make a sketch of what you want?

hi chris

i tried to model it manually in rhino (render pasted)

this is the kind of pattern that i am looking at.

Vipul,

I'm not sure how you want to control the column twist, whether with individual sliders, repetitive groupings or a random method.  Here's my take on it with a repetitive grouping.
