Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This is a feature request...

I often have to insert nodes in the middle of an existing definition. Either they get compressed and not clearly legible or I have to rearrange the definition by zooming out selecting the nodes moving them, zooming back in... Ok it's not a very big deal, I know, but the "moses tool" could do that in two clicks. The first click creates a vertical line, selecting everything that is on the right side, the second clik on the right defines how much space you create, moving the selected components. Just like moses did, or at least as some people say he did... The name should change with the content filter option, but I'm not sure where it woud be considered appropiate...

And if I don't do what you ask, I'll get to deal with a plague of locusts?

They will swarm a triangulation around you.

If you don't do as I say I will have to ask my omnipotent and infinitely benevolent god to punish you with eternal suffering.

It's easy to write this stuff, but the problem is there are no Control/Shift/Alt combinations left over to assign to it. I've put it under Alt+LeftMouseButton now, but that used to force a window selection, even while over an object so that functionality is now gone.

Also, it's kinda weird that it's not possible to contract empty space, makes the tool feel quite clumsy. Haven't figured out yet how that could be done in an obvious manner...

That is awesome! Maybe moving to the right could add space and to the left could remove it. As usual thanks.

that is cool looking.
